maps on GC2

How Large will the maps be on GC2, I'm hoping they will be close to as big as they are on MOO 3, but I wouldn't want them to big (like they could get any bigger then MOO3 ) and not to small to where you can explore 95% of the galaxy in 30 min. what do you all think the map sizes for teh game will be?

Apparently there can be up to about 5000 planets on a map (with an average of 5 per star system). Of course not all are inhabitable, but still.... should be large enough for anyone.

Of course you can also have way smaller maps with only a few systems.

The sectors in GalCiv II are about 25% bigger than they were in GC 1.

On the largest map, it could take a user 240 turns to cross the map.
