What kind of screenies would you like to see from Beta 3?

After a short convo with the Big Dan, I got to wondering... what kind of screenies do people want to see from GC2 Beta3? As a pre-order customer, I've been in the beta since it was first made available (if you pre-order or subscribe, you too can be a participant!). So what kind of screens do we need to drop in here? Any request?

Note: As said elsewhere, Star Dock does not believe in NDAs for its betas. It likes its customers helping to spread the word. So, I can legally do this. So can the other beta participants that also post here.

Alright people! I haven't forgotten you. I've just never actually posted screenies to Apolyton. (I'm so embarassed... a newbie on such a typical matter at my age of lurking here). We are working that issue.

In the mean time, Brad Wardell, the Lead Developer of the game, has posted his personal version of the game manual, with screenies, at:

He includes a screenie of every screen available in the current Beta3 build, and the current manual write up is done in genuine Programmer humor (you have been warned ).

The Custom Race is really 5 subscreens. 1 review/overview, and 4 more to allow players to customize their racial, political party, starting tech, and color scheme.

Here's the first one. This is the "pick your political party" screen.

The political party is also available when you pick a stardard race. GC1 players will find this very familar. Both standard and custom races can pick what political party they are going to play.

The Political Party you belong to grants you in game bonuses. The downside is that under non-imperial forms of government, you have to manage to stay liked enough by the people to keep your party in power when its voting time. If you don't, your party is out of power, and you suffer a penalty until you can gain the majority.

Racial abilities let you customize your race's power. Whether you are playing a Custom race, or just a standard race, you get to pick a total 10 points of bonuses from this list.

GC1 players will find all their favorites in this listing.

Starting Tech!

This allows players to pick the techs that their custom race starts off knowing. The tech's cost is based on how advanced it is, and you have to take the pre-requiste if it is an advanced tech.

Standard races never get this option, because their starting techs are set already.
