Various mods and the official update

I got the Omega Pack by Icho_Tolot from Stardock.net. I also have the update 1.2 from Stardock.net. This may be a stupid question, but are they compatible with each other? If so, is there anything special I need to do to play the mod version?

Yes that Mod is compatible with that version of Galciv. You need to place the Mod inside of your Mods folder. (Make sure you extract to your desktop first the zipped file will not extract properly.)

Read the text file, some files go into the data folder and others go into the Gfx folder.
