Is GalCiv anywhere near a deal to be published on the mac platform?

From my knowledge as a lurker on GalCiv.com's news and its forums, I never heard of a transfer to Mac. Additionally, I think I vaguely remember Brad Wardell mentioning that it would be espescially hard to transfer GalCiv to Mac (because of architecture or whattever technicalities I don't understand) and that he did not intend to do so.
