    Is GalCiv worth buying? (38€)

    Hi all,

    I am considering buying GalCiv. Today it is priced at 38 € (= 41 $). Is it worth it?

    I am a fan of Civ III, PTW, CTP II etc

    I was not impressed with MOO III (although i very much liked the earlier version)...

    It is by the way my experience with MOO III that lead me to be better informed...

    A proud member of the "Apolyton Story Writers Guild".There are many great stories at the Civ 3 stories forum, do yourself a favour and visit the forum. Lose yourself in one of many epic tales and be inspired to write yourself, as I was.

      While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.

          Depends on what you're looking for. Yin's "rating machine" thread gives a good idea of whether you'd like the game or not.

            Also, perhaps you can think about buying Stardock as a whole for a bit more, sicne you'd get some other games too and, if I'm not wrong, the expansion pack. But this depends on your opinion of the other games (Political Machine, Corporate Machine...).
