I just got this game and I must say that I'm impressed!
This is more or less what I've been looking for for some time.
But one thing I do not understand, When I was reading reviews and online sources before to give me an idea of the game, i read in an online manual at galciv.com that there are 9 political parties. However when starting up my first game only 6 appeared. The other 3 do have slots for them in the election screen. Have they been omitted or do they come in the game after installing the latest patch (did not do anything yet but install and immediately play).
In other words, what happened to the populists (+30% morale, +10%influence, +10%pop growth), the industrialists (+5%economy, +20%production) and the universalists (+10% trade,+10% research, +10% defense, +10% repair, and +10% speed)?
Anyone can shed some light on this, because I like the universalists and have not yet found a political party to suit (i.e. augment) my style of play.
