  • Will I like this game?

While I loved SMAC do I hate MOO3, because in MOO3 couldn't you clearly see what every decision exactly did and it also had a lot of needless complexity unlike SMAC where all features added to game play.

So is it in these mathers more like SMAC or MOO3? Has it fun game play? And do the other leaders really feel like leaders that you truelly hate or love like in SMAC and civ1?

After MOO3 am I very warry of buying another SC-FI game.

GalCiv doesn't exactly make it totally clear how each decision will turn out, for example, they intentionally don't include any sort of civilopedia in the game. However, it is very fun, and the sense of discovery you get from playing it is great.

There isn't any real needless complexity either. It's meant to be an organic style of play I think, basically it's a bare minimum of micromanagement, and a good sense of fun.

The other leaders are pretty cool. Some you might not get that attached to, in some games, but you're sure to run into one or two AI civs in each game that you encounter a lot and have a strong feeling about, either loving or hating.
    John Brown did nothing wrong.
