MOO3 player wondering if he should buy GalCiv

there ARE tactics in galciv combat in the sense of knowing what and how many units to move and where. as there are usually not set borders and everyone's mixed up, there is no such thing as "sending your troops to the front". giving a "go to that planet" movement order to a ship can easily be a "go to your death" one

Thank-you everyone for your help in making up my mind. I believe I'm going to defer my decision on buying until after the demo comes out.
