Victory conditions and scores

Does the type of victory you have affect your final score? Which victory type has the best score modifier? Anyone?

If you check thoroughly the best scores in the Metaverse, it would seem the Conquest Victory is the preferred way. Not sure about Diplo and Cultural, yet I find the Technological victory ( and time to invest in the related branch ) to yield a lesser score.

I have actually only won the game through Diplo and Culture, and I've noticed my diplo wins tend to have lower scores overall, but I suspect that is mostly due to controlling less worlds, less techs, etc.

I give the scores absolutely zero credibility. They were just as meaningless in Civ.

Posting the Scores rather than having a built-in Hall of Fame was a bad decision..
This is a Single Player game and as such I'm more interested in what MY last score was and can I top that this time...
