I got a new phone (Galaxy S3) last week and having not played (modern) games on a phone before I have no idea what I'm doing. Now I have a long commute to work for a while so I'll need something to do. Googling isn't helping, I've already played Angry Birds. I'm open to most genres (except maybe puzzle), but would prefer strategy games. Any suggestions?

There's Cut The Rope and Canabalt.
There's also a tactical JRPG called Spectral Souls, I think, but your phone screen might be too small.Graffiti in a public toilet

Thanks for taking pity on my thread.
Cut the Rope is a good time killer. Canabalt I played ages ago as a flash game I think, might give it another go. Not into RPG's and £10 seems steep for a mobile game.
Just looking around for a good TBS but there doesn't seem to be anything outstanding. I downloaded Great Little War Game based on the reviews on google play but it wasn't that great. Might try Catan Seafarers.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)

PokerKing, if you like Texas Hold 'Em. I had a 3D Bowling game that was OK.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
