Funnest RPGs for Nintendo DS

I recently played FFCC: Ring of Fates, which was moderately enjoyable but had annoying amounts of jumping. I recall that I enjoyed Rune Factory, but have not taken the opportunity to acquire the sequels, are they good?

I have heard the Dragon Quest games are good but otherwise know nothing about them.

I like: loot, sidequests, loot, crafting, upgrading skills, story, and loot.
I dislike: jumping, puzzles.

Thus I ask; which are funnest?

If you're a masochist you could try out the Etrian Odyssey series.

Lost in Blue was a fun series, but it's more puzzle heavy than you'd like.
