I recently tried to play the game Guns of August (great book but horrible game) and found the game to be a total lemon with no redeeming features. This game is so bad (you can't scroll around the map, it is very difficult to even figure out which country you're playing, and the interface is possibly the worst ever) it would have been rejected when I was in high school back in 1994. Why aren't there any good WW1 games out there? Can someone suggest a good strategic WW1 game to me?

I really want a strategy game so a flight game like Red Baron just doesn't seem to cut the mustard.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

By the developers of Birth of America. Not had great reviews but many seem to be of the "ok if you like that sort of thing"

The Gold Version of it is supposed to be released next Week. That Version finally has the Map correctly tilted.. Russia North, France South was too confusing for me.Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

If you can get over the terrible Eastern European voice acting, the game is fairly entertaining.
