Wii console online connection..

Is this even possible? My friend and I have already traded console numbers but neither of us have figured out how to connect to each other. Please let me know (if it is even feasible), or give your opinion.

Last time I checked you could swap Miis, but you couldn't play games online. That was a while ago, so they may have changed that.

What is your problem? Getting online at all or connecting to your friend? Also, what game do you try to play? The Wii have this bull**** friend-code system which forces you to exchange one general system code AND a game-specific code.
