I've got a PS3!

You know, after playing Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2, I was beginning to think the PS3 controller wasn't all that bad, and that I just needed a bit of time to get used to it after a lot of 360 gaming.

But tonight I fancied a bit of MW2 so picked up the 360 controller for the first time in a month or so. It's simply amazing how much more natural it feels.

I even went as far as to look into how I can use the 360 controller on the PS3. It can be done, but you need a pretty expensive adaptor.

The PS3 has been out for ages - so I guess they are just too proud to admit the 360 controller is better and release one with a similar design.

Now thats quite interesting. I have never tried the XO controller but it would be great if a similarly designed was available for PS3 as a 3rd party accessory. I only have 2 sixaxis controllers and they are dying from old age so I'm hunting for replacements.

Forget to congratiulate you on your purchase. PS3 will continue to amaze you with new features. Like when I got mine in 2007 stuff we have no was beyond my dreams. Tho it was instantly clear this was the killer system.

I don't really like the PS3 controller very much

There's a remote on Amazon that at lease makes media playback a bit easier when you use it as media player which is mainly what I'm doing.

So, do you plan on getting Heavy Rain?

I have to admit I got really bored with this. Nice technical demo but the gameplay seemed a bit lacking. I read all the reviews and wonder if I'm missing something but haven't found it yet.

I still use the PC as my main games machine but features like the lovefilm streaming and iplayer mean it's getting regular use in the living room.
