inFamous is now $20 cheaper than it was at launch so I picked it up. It's an awesome game. It's GTA meets Spiderman meets KOTOR. It's got GTA's true open-world feel, amped up a bit due to the Spiderman type features: you can seamlessly clime virtually anything in the game, and jump around everywhere. You are a superhero, after all. The sense of feeling is incredible.
It also has a morality system not unlike Bioware's games. Do good things and you unlock good powers, do evil things and you unlock evil powers.
The graphics are pretty incredible. You can scale a really tall building and just swing the camera around and the draw distance is incredibly far. It's one of the most impressive graphical games of this generation that I've yet to play, if only because it's different from the cookie-cutter type graphics we get now with Unreal Engine-powered games...
It has an 85 on metacritic: http://www.metacritic.com/games/plat...ous?q=infamous
If you have a PS3, check it out. There's a demo up on PSN also.
