  • Tropico 3!

    Holy ****!

How the hell did this almost slip past me unnoticed?

I played the absolute living **** out of the first Tropico; the second one wasn't quite as good, but was still a fun game. This one looks like a return to the roots... keeping my fingers crossed.

Tropico was great! Loved the music.

I believe I posted a thread on this some months ago, mentioning it that it was on the way...

The first Tropico game was great, the second one was not so great. I'm looking forward to the third one, though it is not made by the same people, who made the first game

But so far the screenshots looks interesting... finally there are some cars in the game hehe

But let's see how the gameplay will be like when the game will be released
This space is empty... or is it?

I'm buying this as soon as it's out, if only to reward the effort

Oh, the rewarding will be mutual. I've been playing a nearly finished copy of this game, and they're polishing the crap out of it. This game WILL be addictive, clear your calendar.

I loved the original. I wonder will there be a more detailed foregin policy? Or perhas technological progress? There was something odd about exactly the same options in 1999 as you did in 1950.

What I would really like is a tropico game that would cover the time period from 1920 to 2020 with lets say 3 eras each with its own apropriate techs and political landscape. The exact transition dates would be somewhat random.

-Interwar & WW2: Britain is still a player as is France, the USSR not so, maybe have the Axis in there somewhere
            1920-1949

            Cold War: USSR, US
            -1945-1995

            Information age: US, China?, EU?
            -1990-2020

              I've just visted the site.

Timeline editor sounds fun as does the avatar option.
