It was a good game, IMO, but not something that lent itself well to another. It was good largely because of the uniqueness of its setting and the novelty of the story. I'd probably play the sequel, but I doubt it gets nearly as good reviews nor would it probably be nearly as enjoyable for me.
Was the sequel obvious from the ending... I don't really remember the game that well.
