    Six years in development, and GT5 comes out.

    It still has the most braindead AI of any racing game. WTF?

    SIX YEARS. In that span, there have been three Forza Motorsports.

      I wonder how the Kinect, Move and WiiMote will affect the next generation of consoles. I think it is a given that there will be some kind of improvement of course, but will we see a move away from old game pads as we know it and towards something new? Some hybrid? Or will the move/kinect/etc become a supplement like it is today?

        November NPD trickling out.

        MS announced the 360 is #1 for the 6th straight month, 1.4 million sold.
        They claim 50% of the "current generation spend" in the month

            Sony looks well and truly ****ed compared to the competition.

            Edit:Also, apparently half of the 360s sold were Kinect bundles (~700K in bundles). One third of the PS3s sold were Move bundles (~355k in bundles)

                    MS says the last half of December saw a significant supply shortage of the 360, sold out in many places. Supply will still be tight for Jan/Feb. That certainly explains the slower Nov->Dec bump that the other consoles got.

                    360 also the only console up year over year.

                        While I like the PS3, and admit that I am maybe even more likely to get one than a 360, there is no doubt in my mine that the 360 won this generation (and is overall the better console).
