Early reviews are pretty decent, though this is the first one that mentions the tennis player.

Played the demo. Killing zombies is always fun. AI teammates aren't brain dead. Demo didn't convince me there is anything more to the game than "OMG! Co-op kill the zombie horde!" though.

The director is really great. Aside from the fact that you can see the zombies drop from the air, if you know how to catch the system being at work... it does a very good placement of zombies and climatic battles. If you're stranded alone you just know you're gonna get a hunter spawned behind you. I'm looking forward to the mods and custom maps.

Marketing jargon pisses Wiglaf off. A true AI director would introduce new plot elements for example by flashing on your screen that one of your co op wingmen screwed your girlfriend last night and you get +20 health if you friendly fire him in the next 5 seconds. What we have is more like random spawns and not much else which just about dickblocked my enthusiasm for the replayability.

That's more like it. If you have to be around, I much prefer this Wiglaf to the whiny, emo Wiglaf you've been lately. Also, "AI director" randomization seems over-rated. Granted, I've just played the demo, but the demo is where you're supposed to show off why I want your game. If you don't, tough beans for you. Same goes for VS. mode playing as zombies, Zero.

Well, me and my friends are having tons of fun. We never laughed so hard when I got smoked, boomed and pinned by tank and my friends decided to ditch me. It's the best coop game with friends out there and it's too bad if you're not enjoying as much as we are.

We all ditched work early today ( i played a lil at midnight last night as well) and already there are some VS 'moments' we are going to be talking about for hours at the workplace. Man I wish I could have recorded some of the voicechats today. We are not going to get any work done for awhile!!!
