Carry on, you actually know what you are talking about.
To be honest, the main advantages of the stack is that it's easier to understand and explain. In most common situations, the result is the same.

I don't consider myself part of the whiny minority and I don't think I know anyone who likes it. For example, in the pauper community (consisting of 100+ players) we probably lost something like 5-10% of players who never returned because they can't run the new version, another 10% who can play but almost never do because of the new version.

The server lag situation probably improved a bit but the interface is more buggy and there is a lot of client lag if you don't have a high end machine.

If I could, I would probably go back to the previous version. If course the previous version also had problems and it's not MUCH better than the current version but the real problem is that they spent years working on this to get basically negative to no improvement.

When it came out, I was very receptive and ready to wait because they had harped that the architecture of this version would make improving much easier. Improvement has been coming very slowly, so a lot of that initial good will has died down.

Darn, for a second I thought this might be about the excellent Microprose version:

The popular card game comes to the computer. In Shandalar, the single player mode, you start with a small deck of cards/spells, wander the lands of Shandalar, exploring dungeons and battling monsters (and their specific spell decks). Along the way, you...

I got the expansions for this, 'duels of the planeswalkers' etc and it gets fired up every now and then. A fantastic conversion imho.

As for the card game...........a license to print money? even with the great artwork? Played it a bit but just prefer the PC version(single player etc).

Well, if you have five, you can afford to give Seedle one...

But if I have only four, you will be out of luck.

I can check my collection this evening when I'm home from work.

Note that I still play MTGO quite often.

Yes, it sucks that they spent so much time working on a new client for so little improvement if any. On the other hand, MTG is an awesome game and playing online is very convenient, hence MTGO remains a lot of fun, despite the fact that the client could be better.

Yo Seedle! I'm mailing the Hypnotic Specter to you tomorrow morning (Friday).

It might be a little onery by time it gets to you and you let it out of the envelope, but as long as you feed it immediately, he should be happy with its new owner.
