I don't think any current console TBS games cut the mustard, and doubt that one is going to be any different.

EndWar has just been released on the DS. It's a lot like Advance Wars, except with simultaneous turns (not real-time though) and a hex grid. Will be looking out for reviews in the next week or so.Originally posted by UnOrthOdOx

Final Fantasy recently had a Tactics version on the DS (not entirely sure if it was new or port), and Advance Wars a little while before that.
