I noticed several annoying bugs in the cell phase... they were all trying to eat me

In Creature phase one of my favorite tactics is to locate a species near to my nest that is slightly stronger than I am, then sneak up on and spit poison at one of the nearest enemies. Once they start chasing me I beeline for my nest, where my nestmates and I overwhelm however many of the enemy species chase me back to my nest. Tonight when I did this the enemy creatures, when attacked by me and my nestmates, started spazzing and jumping up and down like the ground had been electrified, completely rendering them defenseless. Anyone else encounter something like this?

I've had temporary issues with my creatures spazzing out occasionally when trying to move upon a move order. Clears quickly but is annoying. Doesn't happen often though.

There's tons of bugs.

For one, it doesn't create any ****ing shortcuts on Vista. On me (Vista Ultimate 64-bit) or my SO's computers (Vista Home Premium 32-bit).

When launching, there's no feedback for 20 seconds or so while it loads in the background also...

Creates shortcuts on XP just fine. Maybe you should upgrade to Mohave and see if the situation improves...

Works fine on my Vista 64-bit machine.

Yeah, the games explorer is one of the features of Vista I am not sure I like. Sure, having all games accessible from a single location is kinda nice, I guess, but it adds an extra click that I don't like -- having a shortcut on the desktop or start menu, as before, was perfectly fine...

The keeps crashing when I try to advance from the cell to creature phase. I see the beginning of the video when my creature swims towards the surface, but then it crashes

did you update the drivers of your graphic card? most of the time the issue lies with unsupported (old) drivers...

The levitating dead

I killed this one creature which was trying to scale the side of a mountain. It then assumed the position of death:

Game CTD:d on tribal level whenever I tried to walk into my hut to dress up the first time.

I tried to restart the game: fail
I tried to restart the computer: fail
I tried to start the game and walk into the hut on another planet: fail
I tried patching the game: fail
I tried to avoid walking into the hut: fail (game did not let me)
I tried starting the game all over and walk into the hut, after replaying the first two levels as a totally different species: fail
I tried reinstalling the latest Nvidia driver: SUCCESS!!!
