    Can't help you with that, but it looks a little simplistic. If you want a great WW2 Grand Strategy game, why not just play HoI2?

      HOI is a bit bigger, I agree, I was looking for something that was wargamish (on the level that you would play on a board game). It seems like the games there are on that level.

          To be honest, Risk sucks.

          Axis and Allies is about the maximum dependency on dice rolling for me.

            These are the board wargames I like:

            And others of that those types.

              Properly played, Risk has very little dependency on dice rolling.

                Risk has basically no [non-trivial] strategy to it.

                  Strategy != complexity.

                    != = annoying.

                        Sorry.

                        Strategy <> Complexity.

                        Is better?

                          If you define strategy as complexity, you're right. Otherwise, your statement is nonsensical, as Risk clearly has (non-trivial) strategy, unless you define 'trivial' so loosely as to encompass everything.

                          Risk, for example, has about as much strategy as Chess.

                            It takes all of 15 minutes to learn everything necessary to play Risk well. At most.

                              Again, strategy does not mean complexity. Go takes about 15 minutes to learn, but that does not mean you can easily win it

                              (I'm leaving off the 'well' part, because that's obviously incorrect... I know plenty of people who don't know its strategy after months of learning it
