"In Apoc, I had one soldier who lasted through the entire game... was pretty cool. I like apoc for that reason, the soldiers are a bit more 'personal'." - General Ludd
It's supposed to have about 8ish hours of gameplay, which is a little meh for $20. It is a fun game though.

8 hours of gameplay for $20? That's way better than, say, Crysis.

I mean, it is a good deal for a console game (it's on xbox live too) but for PC games it is short in comparison. Ideally the latter episodes will be cheaper. I generally like at least a $1 per hour ratio.

It's definitely a lot more fun than Crysis. I played about 3 hours of that game before admitting to myself the gimmick was horrible and it wasn't going to get any more fun.

You're full of it my dear. PC games are just as short as console games these days.

It depends on what you consider the PC game's gameplay
Oblivion had maybe 30 hours of gameplay if you just play it through once. However, those who liked it (those few...) got hundreds of hours out of it.
Civ4 has given me at least 1000 hours of gameplay... possibly more, I haven't counted carefully
PC gamers tend towards those games with replayability, such as strategy games or open-ended RPGs, or MMORPGs. None of those port well to the console (currently), except open-ended RPGs; and those are so expensive to make...

You seem to forget about the people who play thousands of hours of Halo, Call of Duty, Rainbow6, GRAW, etc...
There are tons of them. Millions, even.
As I write this, there's been 652,326 unique online players playing Halo 3 in the past 24 hours. This is well after launch...and it's not even #1 online, GTA4 and COD4 are.

If they're included in the same disc of the same game, no they are not.

Well, I only have the last boss left to beat. It really only took about 6-7 hours. It was fun though. I might replay it again sometime.

Ok, beat it. The the boss was only difficult kinda because of the amount of hitpoints.
It was really easy throughout the game. Hopefully the later episodes will become harder.

Asher, you're talking about the number of people playing, not how many hours each of them play per game.
When I was 8, I woke up at about 6am, turned on my Atari and played a game called Megamania. (Not the strategy game, which was also quite fun). I got to the end (1,000,000 points) at about 10pm. Greatest gaming moment of my life. I finished with full health and 10 lives (the max you can get).
And think about this - you can't pause this game, you can't stop once you start it, so I sat on my arse on that carpet for the entire day. I was really sore, hungry and needed the toilet badly.
You mean the counter didn't just roll over back to 0 and start over?!?!?!
I thought all the old Atari games did that.
Asteroids, Pac Man, Yar's Revenge, Breakout...I remember rolling them all. Never did manage to roll Missile Command, and the arcade classics version just isn't 'right'.
