One last little example for the amount of detail that seems to be put into Spore: Together with electronic music wizard Brian Eno, the sound engineers have created an “anthem editor” with which you can easily create your own national anthem (we did not see or hear this feature ourselves, though). When you build new colonies or conquer worlds, this anthem will be played in the background whenever you visit there, following you through the galaxy. Once again, you’re not abstractly “projecting your Empire’s might” as in so many 4X space games. Instead, you’re broadcasting your Empire’s music, telling everyone within earshot that YOU have arrived...

That sounds like fun. I'll recreate the MOO2 music, Trek Theme or perhaps the ode to joy.

Its true you will probably only use it a few times, but since content is shared probably all your races will have unique anthems.

I wonder if it would let you import MP3's for this like the Sims did. It may be fun to conquer the galaxy with my Wiggaslug, all whilst playing "I love you, you love me" by Barney the Dinosaur.
