Beware, Ali! Don't get a C, otherwise you'll win a date with LS.

        If I got a B-, I'd shoot myself, not buy a Wii.

Hopefully sometime during the summer, Wiis will be more available. There's signs that they're definitely becoming less profitable for scalpers and online resellers, though whether that will translate into actual shopfront availability is unclear.

Until that works out, I'll stick with the DS. I'm starting to get tired of Phoenix Wright, which is funny but sort of arbitrary in places. (And it doesn't help that I often notice all sorts of procedural violations in the gaming that a non-law-school normal person might not.)

I have Brain Age and I'm almost done with unlocking everything there. Just the Sudoku left to do.

You can get a Wii if you call up your local WalMart every day or two, or even better talk to someone about when they get shipments and find out in advance Particularly if you live in or near a small town Walmart, it's not that hard anymore. They last a whole day sometimes on the shelf!

They are still limited availability here too, though you can get one if you're really determined.

Fun update. My dad, who is usually quite dismissive of most video games, is now addicted to Brain Age.

I read an article in Wired about how Brain Age is crap and doesn't work

I left my DS cable with my parents accidentally. They're leaving the country tomorrow and will return in July for a cousin's wedding.

So I won't be playing much DS till then.

Happily, I may be playing some Wii! ^_^

So I've been playing my (friends) DS for a couple weeks now. (R4 = )

I've spent most of my time playing The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The game is quite a bit of fun. Being a handheld game, it is understandably easier than, say, Twilight Princess.

When not playing Zelda, I've been playing New Super Mario Bros. I like the powerups, the levels, the gold stars to collect, very fun game.

I've played some of Metroid Prime: Hunters, but I the control scheme is hard on my hands. Holding the stylus and moving with the D-Pad, plus firing with the shoulder buttons = hand cramp. Don't imagine I'll play much of that.

Nintendogs...I gave it a whirl just to see what it was. FAIL. I'm probably not the target audience for such games, though

I've got a few other games that I haven't played much of, but plan to spend more time on once I've finished with Zelda: Kirby, Yoshi's Island, Phoenix Wright, Castlevania, Heroes of Mana...and some more I can't think of (and can't check the DS, as I've got Zelda going ATM.)

Overall, the DS Lite is small enough to cause my hands to ache after playing for a while, but is still loads of fun. I just wish I could get the SNES emulator to work.

Oh, my last missing grade came through. It was a B+, so I did pretty well this last semester.

I will probably get Zelda for the DS. I generally did not like them after Ocarina (although Majora's Mask was pretty good) but I hear that the DS game is quite different.

I am also looking for a Wii, but I understand it may be some time before they are available in the shops. Either way the game library for that seems to be in its early stages, so any added wait has a silver lining.

I have also lost my copy of PW2. This is not that bad because I'm stuck on the last case in PW1 and have no particular desire to finish it.
