do you start with 3 cards face down, and 3 cards face up, sort of thing? You have a hand of cards (normally three) and every time you put down a card/cards you have to pick up from the remaining deck so you always have the minimum amount of cards in your hand?

I like learning new card games. Only thing useful to do in some lectures.

Have to agree on that, but I do like Uno, TMNT and Exit quite a bit. Almost tempted to get PacMan CE just because my 4yo actually likes it, but at 800 pts that's just a bit too steep for pacman, regardless of the minor graphical update.
The former because it was widely acknowledged as one of the best games ever (and it was tricky to get hold of first time around) and the latter for nostalgia and multiplayer.
I also bought Geometry Wars at 400 points, which is a steal and a game everyone should own.

Haven't tried Geometry Wars yet, I'll make note to download the trial.
I'm quite enjoying Exit. It was worth it, as was TMNT. Son and daughter have a blast playing with me on that.
SF2: Hyper Fighting, I gave it a shot, but for some reason it just didn't feel right with the Xbox controller. Need the PS controller for that one for me.I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...

SF2 I totally agree - it is something of a paradox that probably the best controller ever designed has a d-pad worse than my first ever, some 20 years ago.

Okay, I just got a 360 (yay for tax return.)
Mostly got it because our xbox finally just died and there went our classic games with it (or at least the game saves.)
So to fix the problem we went ahead and shelled out for a 360 with the return. Decided to go ahead and pick up Uno and TMNT from the arcade, and the moment I log in cursing, immaturity, and stupidity run rampant.
I suppose part of my question here is to try to find some like-minded folks who don't enjoy cursing and being stupid so much.
My best example (and a more amusing one) as I sought some people to play Uno with:
"FlameFlash, sounds like a total Flamer" and I'm subsequently booted.
So, if there's anybody around who wouldn't mind helping a fellow out, feel free to find me on as FlameFlash82, or just dropping some suggestions on how to find some polite people, if they exist on the system.Only feebs vote.

Yep. I was in recreation. Ended up finally with some college students who liked mocking everybody. I've since switched to Family but have yet to actually play another game online.I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...

I tend to meet more young players on PSN, but even then they are all weirdly polite.
Then again, I never play sports sims online, and those seem to generate a lot of ill will between people due to glitches and cheap shots. I mainly play shooters, which don't seem to be as exploitable.Only feebs vote.

If you met polite people on PSN and not on Xbox 360, you're not playing enough.
R:FM was way worse than any Halo 3 matches I've played. The players there were way more competitive and if you weren't in the top half of the players they'd berate you with choice words I'd never even heard before."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "

It gets funnier the more you say it, particularly when you do it in reply to posts that show you to be insanely stupid."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
