    Anyone playing this?

Completed all the tutorials and the first mission so far and it's pretty good.

My only complaint so far is scrolling the map and navigating menus can be slightly laggy at times, but you can avoid that by using the stylus. Though I'm so used to using the d-pad in Advance Wars it's hard to switch over.

Is it out already? I thought it wasn't until the Winter?

Came out a couple weeks ago.

I've played it a bit, and the interface kind of bugs me. Playing without the stylus is essentially impossible because of the way the game scrolls around the hex grid. I find playing games with only the stylus (especially for extended periods of time) to require more effort than I'd like. Getting through Zelda Phantom Hourglass was a challenge for that reason, even though I enjoyed the game.

A thing they took from Panzer General that I DON'T like... once a unit attacks its turn is over. Gah... at least Panzer General II fixed that...

Yeah, the stylus is only really best for issuing commands and skipping menu items, and constantly switching is annoying. There aren't many games where I would use the stylus, except where it's forced, like Trauma Centre and some Mario Party games.

I never played the PG series so I'm coming to this pretty open. What's wrong with units ending after an attack?

Well, just ordered it today with a handy-dandy Amazon gift certificate I have, so as long as it lives up the $1.99 I actually had to pay, I'll be pretty happy with it

Just makes the game more annoying. If you can attack and move in any order then turns typically take less time because if you know you want a certain unit to attack another one you can do that and move on, instead of worrying about the unit being stuck there the rest of the turn.

Is it just me or are Anti-Tank units useless? Basically the movement of Artillery with no range. The rare chances I do get an ambush on a Tank it does pretty poor damage.

In fact I rarely use Tanks either and only have 2 in my group. Artillery/Air/AA does all my damage and various Infantry to mop up inside cities.

Yeah, Anti-Tank units are pretty much worthless. That was the case in Panzer General as well.

I'm only 7 missions into the Axis campaign but I can't believe this only scored 6/10 on IGN, apparently for poor MP... in a TBS game.
