And it would appear, that the pc version has fixed some of the issues users had with it.
* Optimized controls designed specifically for the PC.
* High resolution visuals - Mass Effect for the PC features highly detailed textures, characters and environments.
* Fully customizable controls - PC gamers can re-map the control scheme any way they like.
* Run & Gun Control - Players can assign biotic powers or skills to 'hot keys' allowing them to play Mass Effect with a heavier focus on action.
* New decryption mini-game.
* New inventory screen GUI and functionality - The enhanced inventory system makes it easier for players to equip and modify their weapons and armor.
I hope they aren't using the Bioshock hack game as the model for their decryption mini-game. Yuck.
I still havn't picked it up for the 360, but will in the near future, I expect. This doesn't dissuade me, my pc is aging, and I have no desire to upgrade it for another 2 years.Comment

I knew it. RPG's also don't usually loose anything when going to the PC so its a no brainer not to buy the consol versions.

Though in all fairness the EA acquisition changed the game situation and made a PC port inevitable and probably pushed it up sooner than originally expected, if for nothing else to hype the next part of the series.
This makes no sense. The issues will be fixed on the 360 via patches fixed on the PC port (which is probably at least a year a way, if at all , due to an exclusivity agreement). Plus, PC versions are always more buggy due to the increased complexity in the machines they run on.
The only advantage the PC has here is ease of piracy, which is what's killing the platform too.Comment
