Project Gotham Racing 4

Too many games, not enough time. I got PGR3 with my wheel and haven't had chance to play it yet.

What is very discouraging is Bizarre Creations (the game dev) was bought out by Activision the other day. The PGR franchise is up in the air, but one of the games BC is working on is a racing game...

Yeah I saw that - just as well this is being billed as the definitive PGR game.

Played this for 20 mins today. Best looking game on the market, bar none.

I never got into PGR. The most fun (with an Xbox racing game) I've ever had was NFS: Most Wanted. I hate the ricer-racer bull**** aspect of the game, but the police chases were fantastic. Really a great sense of speed.

Pretty graphics on this, though.

Forza 2 is so much better.

It's so different. The Kudos and the online game plays in PGR are cool (I like the new cat/mouse ones they've added).

Not all racers need to be sims to be fun.

He's never once accepted a challenge. He's too busy painting his cars to look pretty to race them.

Hah. There's a secret PGR4 achievement: if you drive the Deloran in a thunderstorm at 88mph, you can get struck by lightning. If you do, you unlock the achievement and the license plate from the Back to the Future movies.

This game has really slipped in under the radar though with the release of Halo 3. I would have thought they would have been better waiting a month or so.

I can't believe they are up to number 4. I haven't finished the first one yet.
