Wrath of the Lich King. Level 80 and Death Knight hero class.

If it weren't for the Death Knight, i'm not sure I would be too interested.

Any takers? or have you had enough?

While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.

Havent even reached lvl 50 yet after a couple of months of playing. I think i've had enough 2 weeks ago.
<Kassiopeia> you don't keep the virgins in your lair at a sodomising distance from your beasts or male prisoners. If you devirginised them yourself, though, that's another story. If they devirginised each other, then, I hope you had that webcam running.

I am curious to see if they change the 1-60 game at all in terms of XP gain to perhaps streamline levelling a bit. It seems only natural as the cap goes up.

It took me 3 months or so to get to 60. Another 1-2 to get to 70. I'm slow though.

I have alts all over the place because all of the classes are fun to play, but levelling them through the same stuff is not.

Yeah, I also don't like doing the same stuff again. So while I haev a level 42 Paly and a level 53 (Almost 54) Druid, it isn't entirely likely that I will paly another chracter up that high, despite me being interesting in playing some of the other chracters (it has been 2 years since I played the Paly thouhg, so maybe I can do another alliance).

I will probably continue to play off and on for a while, would like to get this character to Outland though.

I had hoped that only paladins could become death knights, but that wouldn't be fair.

Unless they included hero classes for each class. But then the xpak wouldn't be out until 2012.

Something just seems odd though. How can a rogue become a death knight? or a mage? Just seems counter intuitive.

Although I do enjoy the pvp aspect. As I mentioned in another thread, it's mostly what I enjoy about the game since I don't raid.

The new BG's might be worth a look. I'm trying to find reasons to stay....

I quit a few months back. The game jumped the shark with the BC expansion, especially if you'd quit raiding, like I had. For some reason Blizzard managed to **** up both PvP and raids.

I can't understand how I paid $15 a month to enter a world of teenage sociopaths.

I agree with you about the teenage part, but that was always there.

I actually think they bridged the gear gap quite nicely if you didnt raid. At least to start. If you raided, I guess you didn't like the 25 man limit, since that was the only change I think.

Arena, well, that's still up in the air I guess.

The best part of BC was the new starting areas for Draenei and Blood Elves. I had the most fun leveling new characters to 20 in those areas. I thought that was really well done.

I thought the 25 man cap was a good idea, except that it caused my guild, and most other guilds on the server to split.

But the grinding got boring. I quit after spending yet another day on the edge of Shadowmoon Valley grinding primals, and realizing how long it was going to take me to get my leatherworking maxed. Then there was the crap about getting keyed.

But the real problem is that Blizzard basically insists on having one spec of one class being "required" to tank, and makes leveling a healer awful. Thus, there is always a shortage of healers and a massive shortage of tanks, so it's a pain in the ass trying to find an instance group if you aren't one of those. At least it was on my server.

Plus, the few BC instances I did were nowhere near as good as the original ones. I've still yet to find an instance that was as good as UBRS.

But the same thing happens as happened in the original game (although it took a lot longer then). Once you get to the level cap, you basically have to raid. And to raid, you really need to join a guild and make a substantial time commitment, especially if you are not a member of one of the favoured classes.

Gear sucks as well. There aren't enough options, especially for hunters, who basically are tied down to one set of gear in order to max out. Eventually, you just end up running an instance multiple times because you need trinket X to add +2 DPS.

PvP went downhill for me when they introduced the cross server BGs. Prior to that, there was a strong sense of cameraderie among the BGers on our realm. After that, it was playing with strangers. I never tried the arena, as I didn't really like the idea much. Plus the class balance is borked. Warlocks have been massively overpowered for over a year. The last time I entered Arathi Basin, the opposing team only had 12 players, and nine of them were undead warlocks wearing exactly the same gear. I had to laugh.

I dunno. I still think it is a great game for anyone starting out, but once you begin to come up against the game's limits, the problems become more and more glaring. At least they did for me. I know that most of my WoW friends have now quit out of frustration, but they must be getting more and more newbies, so I guess Blizzard doesn't care.

I did have some good times though. The best were the two times I solo kite killed Drakkisath in UBRS after the rest of the raid wiped. That was a rush, especially the second time, which proved it no fluke.

I cancelled last month. Getting too repetitive. I want more randomness in attacks and events.

Maybe Conan will change MMORPG's for the better. Blizzard are just playing the safe and easy to balance road. Which, in my opinion, is boring.
