    • As Nikolai said, if Duke's the mafia game over, but if Duke is not the mafia then who is.

Is Spaced up to his old double bluff: the mafia always votes second in the 3 person end game therefore if I vote first I am not the mafia.

Whether mafia or not Sparrow has to vote Spaced: if he voted Duke, Duke would have to vote Sparrow: end of Sparrow.

      Interesting.

      • Congrats to the Mafia.

Does anyone want a final sequence to finish the story off or shall we skip to the clues?

          • The "for the tie" thing was a silly joke. Sorry.

I think I'll kill Spaced Cowboy penultimately.

I forgot to change my killing order to keep Herc alive but it seems that no-one put one and one together and got 5. I wouldn't kill anyone because they voted for me, but he was utterly right about the white rose clues. He just unfortunately fell close to the end of the kill list I gave at the start. Sorry Herc, but excellent sleuthing as usual.
I do find it hard to believe the Nikolai red herring fooled so many but I did have to be really creative to get something out of that.
I also thought that the ANDREWANK clue was an anagram of Newark and... (New York), but Will told me this was miles off.

            Thanks for playing all.

                  • well as usual we all jsut docpile people cause clues are too hard to find.

we dont need much incnetive to vote for anyone so any hints will mean a docpile starts.

will be interested to see the clues from will as he has done a great job in burying them in the story.

will the villagers ever pick the mafia again by clue solving. seems recent history shows only mafias caught are by accident not by sluething.

                      • Clues towards Adagio:

Adagio was the one to suggest suicide

telling "trust can be fatal" to Tuberski

NewMark (the lack of a d in goodbye was typo) means New Thief from DenMark. I would have added more over time.

Adaigo had few conections with crime. I believe the plot info I gave to Adagio said he was former friend of Tuberski and then became a cop (without Tuberski knowing) and later volunteered to go undercover to catch him.

                        Clues toward Duke o' York:

Like Adaigo, Duke had few connection with crrime (except Ming's gang). The OP only has this said about Duke, "Also, signed up at this time was Rah's childhood friend, Duke o' York (no one can remember his name because he always insisted that he be called Duke o' York)" Since Duke was a childhood friend of rah's he would have been one of the few who had known Ming.

The methods of killing were hanging and decapitation. Both are often connected with England.

The area Riko Ad Ke (an angram of letters from Adaigo's and Duke's handle) was reffered as the red land afew times. I hoped someone would make the connection of red to Lancshire. Then the killer was often reffered to as "white" (or variations of white) to "To the East" (which York is from Lancshire) and "the enemy of the red land." All conections to York.

In the last 2 updates I inserted a time. The first was 14:55. The Wars of the Roses started in 1455. The next was 7:10. July 10 is a date of a hundred years war battle.

In the last update I inserted 2 refferences to flowers. The new chief was John Rose. Herc's head fell onto a patch of flowers. In the second to last update I aslo misspelled words outside of the letter. The letters that should have been there spelled "flowers."

I know there are more misspelling, but they don't reveal anything new. Post if you have any questons.

Maybe you meant to work with this further but....

Didn't know that , But fair enough, I could've researched it.

Hello, I did make a connection and it was stimulated by Rasputin's reference to red and white country or similiar connection comment.

                          • To be honest. The mafia ( Duke) should have been caught with the evidence I provided. But I am not sure that in the end the last two non mafia players looked at the evidence.

                            • Well to be honest, with me from the US and Sparrow from Canada, the British clues were lost on me anyway, I bet Sparrow as well.

I was a former friend of myself?
