Aside from being affordable, what sets Wii apart from its rivals is its innovative gameplay that is so different from the usual gaming machines that we are acquainted with. You can't help but be amused small children playing Wii Boxing in front of the screen. The physical aspect of it is perhaps what contributes to its popularity.

It's the XBox360 and PS3 at the top. The wii is simply a different product.

Heh, I actually bought a PS2 at the beginning of this week, also. I wanted to catch up on several years worth of RPGs that I'd been holding out on It now sits next to my Wii, a celebration of tiny consoles!

If you pick up the FF games, God of War (both) and MGS games you are pretty much set on the PS2 exclusives.

I've heard great things about Okami. Haven't played it, but I can say personally from watching that it is quite nice graphically.

If you like platformers, Ratchet & Clank is a decent series, and exclusive to Sony's machines.

I've been playing Odin Sphere lately, and yes, it is very pretty, but it hasn't really grabbed me. I think I'll be sending it back to Gamefly in lieu of Rogue Galaxy.
