Played the original a few times. As long as you could get at least 4 people to play, it was fun. Little combat, trading sessions were the best part of the game (once enough cities were built to get the higher level calamaties into play). Early printings of the original had a problem with some of the trade cards (ochre, i think), but since the value progression was pretty straightforward, it was easy to spot and correct yourself (AH did offer free replacements at the time, though).
- The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.
