What would be a good WH40K army to invest in as a second army? I have a 1850 - 2000 pt Blood Ravens list put together. Curious what if anything to put together next.

Ive never played WH in any form. I once wandered in a WH shop in a mall, thinking it some kind of general gaming store, and briefly watched a miniatures game.

I had participated in a miniatures game once before, when somebody set up "little wars" at my HS wargaming club.

Victoria and HOI. When was EU2 released? Does the century begin on Jan 1 2000, or Jan 1 2001?

BG2 was this century, I think. When was PST? Thats pretty much it.

Ive only had a machine that could (with assurance) play post 2000 games since spring of 2006, and ive had several older games that ive played since then for a variety of reasons.

LOTM plays a lot of older games. I'm not sure why he wants people to ask him questions, typically he asks the older (not agewise but gaming wise) gamers questions ... he's probably 1/3 of the activity of this forum

What, in your opinion, is the most important thing you would want to see in a strategy game?

ive never bashed gaming at all. You misinterpretated my post on that other thread, if you think that.

                        1. The Ask X threads in OT are often very interesting, and i think they could be here. I was really trying to get something started.

                        2. I was specifically prompted by nostromos assertion that I had a huge gaming collection, which I think I set straight. I was wondering if anyone had any other qs. Ask X is more for opinions, not for authority, or maybe im misled.

perhaps you should start such a thread?

Historical immersiveness. I prefer history games above all, and while a game is not good without good gameplay, I enjoy historical accuracy more than most non-grognards. Id say immersiveness rather than accuracy, to emphasize that the larger structure of gameplay should give an historical feel, and thats more important than a minor inacccuracy in detailed stats.
