from what folks are saying on quartertothree, MP is looked to get a better sense of what can be done with the Wiimote to improve gameplay on a more "mainstream" kind of game.

I've seen all the screenshots they've got, and it doesn't look much different. The reason is because they're still using a lot of Halo 2 models and textures right now (at least, according to Bungie). I'd assume something similar is in place for MP 3.
