The second new Duke Nukem Forever screenshot of the new millennium
This year is turning out to be the biggest media blitz in years for Duke Nukem Forever. In January, 3D Realms posted along with a job ad a single in-game shot of Duke Nukem. That single tiny, postage stamp-sized caused a big stir in the gaming community, but 3D Realms remained rather mum on the progress of its game.
Now, just a few months after that first screenshot comes a second one, equally low-res and also tagged with another job opening for a programmer. Those looking to help 3D Realms on DNF may check out the job requirements here, but for the rest of you looking for what Duke’s next game is looking like, check the shots to the right.
George Broussard said regarding the new image, "Just to head off any questions. Real-time in game asset, like the last job ad shot. Taken from a game level with a dark background, on purpose, because we wanted to focus attention on the character."
As usual, no word on release date other than, "When it's done."
