Hardly Well, nothing comes close to being as bad as Residue Processing IMO anyway. But I didn't like the second half of Lambda Complex, which again turns into pure jumping puzzles.

Yup. Ive gone through Lambda complex, turned the reactor on, and am now doing the jumping puzzles to get out. Ive even managed to get out once, got killed by something as I went out, and then had to start over, and now I can only seem to get ALMOST out.
Again I know what I have to do - facing backwards, wait for two electric currents to pass, climb up the ladder ABOVE the platform, jump down, then run and jump and run through the door before the current comes round again. Its just getting my fingers to do it fast enough.
Would it be okay to noclip to the point Id gotten to before?

never mind I did that jump, and got to the teleporting section. I did the teleporting up the tower, and now have to do the jumping puzzle across the platforms turing in opposite circles.
I may be away from the game for awhile.

See, you are flying through it now - what was all that fuss about?
i thought this area was one of the quickest\easiest because of the lack of enemies
if you want to stop terrorism; stop participating in it

Don't despair, I believe it's the last one of these really bad and annoying jumping puzzles
Ive done button2 , gone back to the center, and am now trying to do button 1. It IS bad and annoying.

Im playing on easy. IIUC the difficulty levels impact opponent hitpoints. If thats the case, it would unbalance the fights vs the puzzles. Ie the game is designed so both are of roughly equal difficulty (I assume) On easy, an FPS noob like myself can, with some tactical sense, more or less fly through the battles - the jumping puzzles are nasty in comparison.

Yeah. Well, this sort of jumping puzzles will be over after this one. There are, unfortunately, some jumping puzzles later, but none require such fast & coordinated movement, so it'll probably get easier for you from now on.
Hit points are indeed what difficulty levels impact. Well, Difficult additionally makes alien slaves stronger by reducing the time they need to charge for their electro attack - so it becomes hard to kill one before getting zapped if you have no cover.
On Easy, just about anything will go down to a close-range shotgun blast. Those alien grunts are the only enemy that doesn't go down easily.

At first attempt these appear just as hard, if simpler.
