    I finally unwrapped it a few weeks ago and am still playing it.

    I turned off pirates as they were somewhat annoying, mainly to keep track of. Funny that there is still a pirate base full of ships though.

    I don't seem to mind the building dependancies or haven't noticed that it bothers me, seems like it is part of the strategy to plan your builds. I'm not noticing any differences between this and other 4x games (although they could have just made a general logistics structures allowed, but maybe there were loop holes that were exploited).

    I still have not played a game completely through yet, but should finish the one that I'm currently playing (2ai on normal) soon.

    I do like how it pretends to be a 3d game but only ends up being 2d as there is no z axis for buildings, ships or planets...only the view makes you think it is 3d.

    The interface is very nice, but does take some time to get used to, and since I use the pause button quite a bit, it does start to turn into a turnbased affair.
