Project 64 is extremely user-friendly and non-difficult. It's also legal and free.
The actual game, not so much. But there are plenty of places to get it.

And no there's no PC version. The original Smash looks a little better at high resolutions (and with loads of AA), but not really. In fact, the low-resolution textures and low polygon count become a lot more visible.Comment
