I'm getting burned out by them. Nothing interests me anymore. Except civ4. But that game is pissing me off and isn't fun. One difficulty level is too hard, but the difficulty level below that one is too easy.

Slightly more seriously as I've grown older and ever so slightly wiser, my tastes in games have narrowed considerably. In the last few months the only games I've played have been Master of Orion 1, Warcraft 3 and Civilization 4. I might have played GTA:VC for a couple hours too...
I've been playing and loving strategy games since Stars! (over 10 years now) so I doubt that'll ever go away, but I can't really envisage myself playing FPS games again.

In nine years (when I'm 50) I'll be playing on my household LAN with the kids. Looking forward to them being old enough to play some decent games.

I'll probably be still playing games, but I won't be a gamer anymore. Hell, I'm not even sure I'm still a gamer anymore. I sold my Xbox. I'm still playing games on my PC, but not that often.

Already well past the deadline and haven't slowed down. But the type of games I play has slowly modified over the years. No more hand eye coordination games for me.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
