Genre/Era is less of an issue for me. Middle Ages? Great. Napoleonic? Fantastic. Space age? Wonderful. I like them all for different reasons, I guess.
At any rate, it sounds like it's got enough elements to keep me interested and busy for ages . . . . Not that I'll have time to get to it any time soon, but I'll keep it on my list.
