Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
In contrast Ralph's strategy is to play a shaman then whine that levelling is too fast and that the game is too easy.........before of course getting to any endgame content.
I chose to play as Human Warrior in my ten-day free trial. I found that I love playing this classic race and class; there's just something appealing about plunging into a violent melee for close, intense combat.
I found that one of my early, favorite combos with the different skills, is to initiate combat with a Charge and then immediately follow up with Rend.
By the way, earlier today I finally decided to buy the game with its free month. I will start all over.
I don't think you have to start all over..

I chose a human paladin because I always liked the paladin in the earlier warcraft games.. oh well, alot I know.
My strategy now is mostly in pvp where i follow around the group and heal until i'm either out of mana or the hunchbacks notice me and deicide to order everyone on top of me like a ten car pile up. "Kill the pally healing!"
Although, lately I have been increasingly surprised at how well I can do, occasionally, in melee against the ugly ones. I have no epic gear. Either i'm getting better at this or they're getting worse...not sure which.
So, now my strategy is to go melee and heal when needed. I enjoy healing when needed, but a Paladin doing nothing but hanging back just rubs me the wrong way.
While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.
oh, and speaking of the hunchbacks, I recently created an undead warlock and i'm growing quite close to the crippled little bugger.

I have little experience in the game so far, but as of now....
I'm a Druid who can shapeshift into a bear. So the strategy I use is to hammer at mobs at a distance with my wraith spell and when they charge at me change into a bear and wail away at them. I can really decimate a big group by pulling away one at a time like this.
I've chosen skinning and tailoring as my professions. It's just some decent fun and you can really advance in tailoring pretty quickly and make some nice shirts .
Of the secondary professions, I'll probably have to cook more, but I like fishing. It's a fun mini-game. And gives you some nice eats. Though as a druid, I get some healing spells, so I don't eat food too much or use bandages all that often.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
