The last single player game I played much was Indigo Prophecy. It was very good.

the only computer game I have played since April has been Civ4. In april I played Oblivion for a few days. And before that I've only played civ.

My mind has been occupied by other things. Just no time for computer games.

But I am thinking about installing Baldur's Gate 2 on my computer again. New games suck

I dont know what games you have played - sorry if i name some you might have.

1. Crusader Kings - i see you like EU2, and CK is ok but different.

2. Pirates of the Caribbean+POTC mod - there is a thread somewhere below by me about it. If you like pirates as a theme its one of the better ones.

3. Daggerfall - oldschool first person crpg, the best most epic TES game? probably.

4. Age of Wonder(1 or 2) - tbs fantasy goodness.

5. Realms of Arkania - another old crpg, this one party based. Look for the first one to start of(Blade of Destiny) or the trilogy pack. Huge epic crpg based on a german(so that means detailed) pen+paper system. Months/years of gaming ahead

6. Darwinia - a very decent indie game with a great computer-culture feel to it. Cool.

7. Imperialism 2 - decent strat game, but not perfect.

Right now I'm busy playing The Settlers II
I do play a little Far Cry now and then, and soon I'll probably start a new game of Civ, haven't had much time for that later

last few weeks ive mainly just played EU2, which you already play. In the last few months ive played Victoria (which you already play) and Roller Coaster Tycoon (which you dont mention, but its not really obscure) Ive played Paradox's Crown of the North, which IS obscure, but isnt very good. Ive played Colonization a bit, but thats not obscure either.

Only game ive played lately that would fit your categories, maybe is Divided Ground. But seeing as its part of the Talonsoft Campaign Series, that included Eastern Front, Western Front, and Rising Sun, im not sure if obscure is quite the word - an obscure release from a relatively well known series.

It was decent, but the story degenerated into nonsense towards the end. Loved the start though.

I'm playing Space Rangers 2 again. It's a fantastic game.

Well, Commrade, seeing how I dont think we have played online against each other, I will say One of my all time favorite's is AOEII: The Conquerors

In addition I also enjoy C & C Generals:Zero Hour
