With the fear increasing in the town everyone ran and bolted themselves into their homes, except for Duke who bolted himself into the hotel room. For two days nothing was heard, it was like a ghost town. Then phone calls started happening, people begun accusing each other, finally a consensus was reached, one person was obviously guilty . The town narrowed downthe choices and used total illogical reasoning. Ha they all said, who else but Adagio would kill Leirosa, yes they agreed, only Leirosa was pretteir than Adagio, and it was extreme jealousy that had driven him to murder. So with a few more phone calls the town organised a mob to gather outside Adagios home. He wouldnt come out he was terrified. So the mob gathered gasolene and drenched his home. Then a Zippo was found and thrown on the home and with a roar the fire took hold and Adagio was no more.
Great work by the towns folk, surely now after killinh two of their own they would be safe.
But alas no, for while the fire was still burning strongly, one of the gathered crowd slipped into the darkness. Jonny saw the movement and followed, wondering where the person was going. Jonny followed at a safe distance till the person he followed stopped at the gas station and grabbed some maps from behind the counter. Jonny saw the person scribbling on them making subtle changes. Then the person exited the gas station and jumped into a vehicle in the workshop. an old Ford. The person turned the ignition and jammed the car into reverese, foot flat to the foor the Ford rocketed back straight at Jonny. Jonny was aparalysed with fear as he saw the car jump over the gutter and launch straight at him. Jonny was decapitated by the cars rear fender.
With an evil laugh the Ford sped off into the night.
