Turn 11: "An OOB that even Jaguar could be proud of."

Whoha's spy kept Lazerius at home, he was on his way to take out Whoha. Whoha and Flubber sent almost all their combined fleets at Lazerius (which makes the GM wonder why not all the fleets were sent since a spy was in the equation).

5 rounds were needed to determine the winner.

Oh dammit Lazerius said they'd go MFL first in the second round rather then a LMF hoping to hit the torps of a MLT but i was too cautious and put T first to avoid any fighter rapeage. If i'd listened to that I would have had a perfect OoB. Sorry Lazerius

Ah, now it all makes sense, I left an "i" out of Kassi's name and added it to yours. The universe is in balance again.

I'll continue to play this out if whoha wants to but to me, isn't it concession time?

I do have one question though-- Laz started last turn with 267 build points of fleet. After building 40 more he is now at 259?

So to me that means he lost 48 build points of stuff during the battle. BUt I can't reconcile that with his losses in round 1 and 2. he took 198 hitpoints of damage which to me says he should lose 66 BP of stuff (maybe slightly less due to damages to various ships of different types-- I didn't check but that wouldn't be enough to account for it)


This probably doesn't make any real difference but another 20 BP off his lazers at the start of round 3 is where I have it.

Am I right? I am just wondering since I remain relatively new to the game and am still trying to work out how all this stuff works

I don't think it makes a lot of difference -- I still think we will be in a situation where things are pretty hopeless.

But as part of learning this game, I do like to ask when things do not match what I would expect. Its probably some rule I am missing but I figure if I don't ask, I won't know

You look to be right Flubber, must have gotten distracted when doing the battle.

Unfortunately, I tried to send the file to work, but it got rejected...WTF, so I won't be able to fix it until tonight.

Probably will result in a few more losses for Laz.
