So, I saw today for the first time a preview of this game Panzer Tactics DS. Is it just me or does this totally look like Panzer General II? I consider that a good thing. Has anyone heard anything about this game? I used to play (and lose) PGII for hours, so this looks pretty exciting to me, anyway.

For a reason i can't remember i did end up playing Panzer general on the PSOne many years ago. game conversion was ok except for the controls. Some types of games really need a mouse. -
Yeah, looks a lot like it.
It's being developed by what looks to be a mobile game-maker, and published by CDV, the same company that made Cossacks and Cossacks II, two Napoleonic-ish War era RTS games.
Could be very interesting. I might need to pick up a DS after all.
