The game was fun up until the Catacombs, which have been more of a crawl. And I suck at finding party members, I only have Morte.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

I quit around the catacombs. I managed to beat everything around there(undead city, many of one or whatever) and get to the next major city but the game totally started to suck, and I got bored. I still have my save so maybe someday I'll try to beat it.

yeah this isnt a game with LOTS of potential party members. For a long time morte is your only choice.

I had no problems with it. I actually prefer the lower resolution, that way everything is bigger. .

In BG2, the characters are so small, you can't really see them. Not the case in planescape torment. You can see all the graphics details.

Quake does the same thing to me. After playing it for a few hours, I will have to lie down for the rest of the day.

Currently it just gives me a headache, don't know if my sensitivity is down, or if I haven't played as long.

Even I have some small gaps.

I will get around to it, when there is free gaming time.

Maybe you could get someone to look at the screen for you and then you can relay the actions you want conducted. There should be a text version of Planescape Torment. It is quite outrageous when you think about it that people such as yourself should have to put up with sore eyes.

So Planescape Torment is literally a torment to play. Hmnmmmn

                      Indeed! Absolutely intolerable.

Amusingly, yes. After my eyes adjusted, my right arm got sore from all the playing and I had to keep a break of a couple of days to let it get better. I fear what's next.

indeed! i had the arm(and wrist) thing until i sorted out a decent position to have my mouse hand rest it while doing pc stuff. This had plagued me on and off for years, but now its cool

The trick is to provide a support that your arm can rest on that is high enough to take the pressure of your arm when you hold the mouse. If you are putting too much pressure on your mouse increase the height of the rest under the mouse arm. I use a cussion to get just the right height.
If you go to high it can also cause rsi, so you need to find the right height for yourself and all your mouse arm problems will go.

I was thinking for the eyes, have you tried uv protected sunglasses? in my days of mad student amiga gaming, where i would often do sessions of gaming lasting upto around 16hrs straight, i ended up wearing shades to keep fit to play - it really helped although a few friends found it ammusing to find me in darkness 'locked' into my amiga wearing shades. Still i was speedball2 champion for a reason

Well, it's kind of strange, because I've been using this same posture and set up for literally years, but only now has it actually caused any problems. It's possible it was only because this was the first time for quite some while that I used the mouse intensively for several hours, and it's just the overt stress that's causing the pain. I've been experimenting with different heights now but it's still there. I'm thinking of switching to lefthanded operation for a few days.

Real gamers have wrists honed from years of repetitive mouse movements.

Used to be that you could get video cards with line doublers. I dunno if they do that anymore, since new games are already 800+
