Showdown





As it happens, Skanky "Quick Draw" Burns and his sidekick the Kassiopeia Kid decided on taking another crack at Spaced Cowboy. This time they didn't have a shield to worry about, and Skanky's spy made darn sure that the ornery rattlesnake couldn't run out on the fight.

Skanky Burns's 18 Laser Cruisers, 5 Fighter Cruisers, and 19 Torpedo Cruisers; and Kassiopeia's 15 Laser Battleships and 15 Torpedo Battleships face Spaced Cowboy's 6 Laser Frigates, 15 Laser Cruisers, 12 Laser Battleships, and 2 Fighter Cruisers.

No sense in drama here Joncha, as I fortold in my orders, I was toast and had no other options.

This won't be pretty.

The second round clash was monumental, but only resulted in a marginal gain for the attackers.

Spaced managed to keep the damage light, but the second wave looks like it will be grim for him...

What followed was some good old fashioned LAZZERGEDDON. I don't think we really need to see the rest of the gory details.



Spaced Cowboy is eliminated.

Kassiopeia gains 3 bases while Skanky Burns gains 2. Neither lose a ship.

Sorry, what I meant is that it were obvious that I was done for...not even a countershot was possible (well unless I did something differently)....I was trying to save you the trouble of getting graphical on an obvious pawnage.
