What I find amusing is that half the game's made for the consoles-only are better played on the PC.
What sucks is that Microsoft wants their console to be the game machine and the PC to be the work machine.
I on the other hand, will not give in without a fight, if we let Microsoft do this, then we will ultimately lose in the end. We will all have to buy two machines, and periodically upgrade them, for two different purposes. And we will be telling the future generations the good old days of doing BOTH on the same machine.be freeComment

Not to mention that games are one of the big selling points of the Windows platform, with a huge install base. Microsoft would be crazy to try to change that.
Not to mention that they designed Vista to make PC gaming more user-friendly.

MS would be only to delighted if gamers played games on PCs where their OS is dominating the market, but the awkward customers seem to buy consoles these days. Since they do, MS wants their consol to have exclusive games and compete strongly against all the other consoles. If they expand on JE for PC where they left off on XBOX, they might actually see a sales increase. As I have said before, the game was rushed in production and suffered accordingly for that. If they can make it a bit bigger and add some more sidequests and otehr stuff they might have a series comparable to KOTOR on their hands. Maybe even better.
I think the asain mythology thing is really cool (really mythology in general is cool. Joseph Campbhell ) and gives the game a very unique flavor, it is sad though to see it all gone to waste on poor management.

What i'm saying is, the SDK for the XBox is easier than for Windows, while this is not MS's fault exactly, I do find that MS has the power to make game-creation on the PC for PC's easier.be freeComment
